PUMA Appoints Thomas John as New VP of People & Organization

PUMA has appointed Thomas John as Vice President People and Organization, effective October 16, 2025. He will oversee the human resources strategy and organizational development and will report directly to CEO Arthur Hoeld. Thomas John, aged 59, brings nearly 30 years of human resources leadership experience across several industries including sporting goods, aviation, and automotive. His recent position was Senior Vice President Global Human Resources at Landis+Gyr.

John's career focuses on aligning people strategy with business performance. He has expertise in leadership, talent management, and organizational transformation. CEO Arthur Hoeld expressed confidence in John's ability to enhance PUMA's operational excellence. John succeeds Dietmar Knoess, who has opted to pursue new interests outside the company.
