Sasquatch Resources Executes Option Agreement

Vancouver, BC / ACCESSWIRE / July 24, 2024 - Sasquatch Resources Corp. (CSE:SASQ) has announced an option agreement with Gene Robert Overall. The agreement concerns three mineral claims covering 191.34 hectares on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. For the next three years, Sasquatch has an irrevocable right to explore and process minerals on these claims.

The claims include the historical Blue Grouse Mine, located near Cowichan Lake. This mine operated from 1917 to 1919 and again from 1956 to 1960, producing copper, silver, and gold. The site is accessible via paved and logging roads.

Sasquatch CEO Peter Smith noted the project's similarity to their Mount Sicker project. He highlighted favorable access and high historical cut-off grades as key considerations. The company will evaluate the waste-rock's potential over the coming months.

Under the agreement, Sasquatch will make necessary exploration expenditures to maintain the claims. Upon commercial production, a cash payment of $25,000 and a 2% net smelter returns royalty will be granted to the optionor.
