Schletter Group Highlights Sustainability at Intersolar 2024

Kirchdorf/Haag, June 11, 2024. Schletter Group, a global manufacturer of solar mounting systems, will exhibit at Intersolar Europe 2024 in Munich. The company will showcase its roof- and ground-based PV mounting systems and emphasize sustainability through an exhibition stand featuring living walls and recyclable materials. Key focuses will be on material efficiency, digital tools, and customer feedback.

Schletter’s CEO, Florian Roos, emphasizes the company's sustainable initiatives, citing their recent CSR report and efforts to reduce their ecological footprint. The report outlines goals to use over 95% recyclable materials in products by 2024 and achieve a 50% recycled content for raw materials by 2025. Additionally, by 2028, the company aims for all power supply to come from renewable energy sources.

At Intersolar, Schletter will present innovative roof- and ground-mounted systems, including the Schletter Tracking System, focusing on material efficiency. The company has improved geometries to reduce material use and carbon footprint without compromising performance. New aluminum roof hooks are highlighted for their resilience and reduced weight.

Schletter, partnering with DoppelErnte, introduces the ‘Agri-PV Checker,’ a digital tool for analyzing Agri-PV project feasibility, accounting for location, solar radiation, and local regulations. A revised ‘Schletter Configurator’ planning tool, now more user-friendly, will be presented in beta form for customer feedback.

Customer interaction and feedback are pivotal at Intersolar 2024. The ‘House of Schletter’ will offer interactive product experiences. Intersolar 2024 takes place in Munich from June 19-21, with Schletter located in Hall A6, Stand 180.
