Schletter to Supply Mounting Systems for 80 MWp EnBW Project
The Schletter Group has secured the contract for the largest solar project in Baden-Württemberg. The Kirchdorf/Haag-based company's mounting systems will equip the Langenenslingen solar park, which promises an output of 80 MWp. This capacity will meet the electricity requirements of approximately 30,000 households. Conecon, based in Aschaffenburg, Germany, is the project planner and general contractor.
The FS Duo, Schletter's twin-post system, was chosen for this project. CEO Florian Roos cites the system's additional stability as a key benefit, despite slightly higher material costs. The modules' installation from below offers enhanced safety and time efficiency.
The system’s foundations, made of rammed, galvanized steel, provide extreme stability and are more cost-effective. They are also easy to dismantle, allowing full removal at the system's end of life. EnBW plans to operationalize the park by mid-2025, aiming to produce 80 million kilowatt hours annually, powering 30,000 households and saving 54,000 tons of CO₂.
The Schletter Group has a history of collaboration with EnBW, having worked on the Gottesgabe and Alttrebbin solar parks in Brandenburg. The FS Duo system was utilized in these projects as well. A new project, a 62 MWp plant in Gundelsheim, is also scheduled to begin construction soon.
