Schneider Electric Successfully Issues €1.5 Billion Bond

Rueil-Malmaison, France, September 3, 2024 - Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, announced the successful issuance of a €1.5 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) on August 27, 2024. The issuance is divided into two tranches, each worth €750 million. The first tranche will mature in September 2030 and carries a fixed coupon of 3%. The second tranche will mature in September 2036 with a fixed coupon of 3.375%.

This financial maneuver aims to extend Schneider Electric's debt maturity profile while bolstering its liquidity position. The implied rates for the tranches are 3.094% for the 6-year maturity and 3.426% for the 12-year maturity.
