Scout24 Acquires Spanish Real Estate Platforms Fotocasa and Habitaclia
Scout24 SE has announced its acquisition of Fotocasa and Habitaclia, two prominent Spanish online real estate platforms. With this acquisition valued at approximately EUR 153 million, Scout24 expands into Spain, a growing European real estate market. The Spanish platforms boast over 8 million monthly active users and around 1 million property listings. This move enhances Scout24’s reach and strengthens its ecosystem by serving 40,000 B2B customers and 28 million monthly visitors in Germany, Austria, and Spain.
Fotocasa provides nationwide services in Spain, including property listings and mortgage advisory from its Barcelona base. Habitaclia focuses on Mediterranean coastal regions, popular with international buyers. Both platforms will continue operating under their established brands. The transaction is expected to close following regulatory approvals and EQT’s acquisition of Adevinta Spain within six months, with funding from Scout24's cash and credit facilities.
