Scout24 Reports Strong Start to 2024 with Substantial Revenue and EBITDA Growth
Scout24 SE announced a robust beginning to 2024, marking a revenue increase of 11.7% in the first quarter, totaling EUR 136.1 million. This growth is attributed to a 10% rise in professional memberships and a 20% increase in private subscriptions, demonstrating continued momentum from the previous quarters.
The company also reported a noteworthy increase of 16.5% in ordinary operating EBITDA, leading to a 2.4 percentage point expansion in margin from the previous year, now at 58.4%. These improvements were supported by strong performance in high-margin products and disciplined cost management.
The Professional segment observed a 12.8% revenue growth mainly due to a rise in membership business. However, the Private segment saw more moderate growth at 9.3%, with strong subscription revenue offset by normalized Pay-per-ad (PPA) growth and softer demand in relocation leads and credit checks.
CEO Tobias Hartmann expressed confidence in the continuation of Scout24's growth trajectory and strategic execution, reaffirming the company's financial guidance for 2024 predicting further revenue and EBITDA margin enhancements.
