Scout24 SE Achieves Revenue Growth and Profitability in H1 2024
Scout24 SE has reported a 14.4% increase in revenue for Q2 2024 and a 13.0% rise for the first half of the year. This surge, driven by strong core product demand, saw revenues reaching EUR 275.6 million. The Professional segment saw a customer increase of 2.4% annually, while the Private segment grew by 27.1%.
Operating EBITDA grew by 13.7%, with a margin expansion to 60.4%. Adjusted earnings per share rose by 11.4%. Despite higher operating costs due to the Sprengnetter consolidation and increased marketing expenses, Scout24 expects continued growth in FY 2024 with a revenue increase of 9-11%.
CEO Tobias Hartmann emphasized the success of their interconnected marketplace and long-term investments. Scout24's new brand campaign aims to expand its reach among younger demographics. CFO Dirk Schmelzer reaffirmed the company's full-year guidance, highlighting double-digit growth in adjusted EPS.
