'Sea Idylls' Exhibition Moves from Park Avenue to the Seaport

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / June 6, 2024 / The renowned artist Carole A. Feuerman has relocated five of her iconic swimmer sculptures from Park Avenue to the Seaport in New York City. These sculptures will be on display until the end of November 2024. The historic Seaport, with its view of the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge, offers a fitting backdrop for this open-air exhibition, inviting both tourists and locals to experience aquatic-themed art in a poetic setting.

Feuerman, celebrated for her Superrealist style, has been perfecting her craft for fifty years. Her sculptures are known for their lifelike appearance and often feature women in peaceful, meditative poses adorned with water droplets. At the Seaport, these sculptures interact with their environment, embracing natural elements like rain that enhance their lifelike quality.

A notable piece on display is "Survival of Serena," positioned at the end of Pier 17 with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. Another masterpiece, "Justice," depicts a woman in a lotus pose on a polished steel sphere, reflecting both viewers and the surroundings.
