Sekur Private Data Secures Proposal for Expansion into Africa

Sekur Private Data, a Swiss-hosted cybersecurity platform, has announced a proposal request for 1,200 SMB bundle licenses in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This marks Sekur's first venture into Africa, with an expected annual recurring revenue of approximately $1.3 million. Initially, 200 licenses will be delivered, followed by 1,000 more by 2026. The company is eyeing a partnership with Silikin Village, a major tech hub in the DRC, to distribute its solutions.

Sekur's services, including encrypted email and messaging, aim to combat the rise in Business Email Compromise attacks. The proprietary platform, hosted in Switzerland, ensures user privacy by avoiding big tech infrastructure and data mining. Despite not disclosing the client's identity, Alain Ghiai, CEO, expressed enthusiasm about expanding into Africa and providing secure communications in the region.
