Sendero Resources Reports Promising Drilling Results at Peñas Negras Project
Sendero Resources Corp revealed positive drilling outcomes from its maiden drilling program at the Peñas Negras Project in the Vicuña District, La Rioja, Argentina. The latest results include significant intersections of gold and copper, highlighting the project's potential.
Key results included a 364m intersection from hole PNDH006, with gold equivalent values as high as 1.61 g/t over 22m. Hole PNDH004 showed similar promising results with an intersection spreading 266m at 0.52 g/t gold equivalent. The findings suggest the presence of a large mineral system with both porphyry and high-level epithermal mineralization.
Sendero plans to focus future exploration on identifying high-grade feeder zones within the advanced argillic lithocap and testing beneath it for porphyry systems. The next steps will include a geophysical survey to better understand the underlying structures.
