SES Appoints Elisabeth Pataki as New CFO

SES has announced the appointment of Elisabeth Pataki as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective 16 June 2025. With over 20 years of experience in finance within multinational aerospace and defense companies, Pataki is set to take the helm following Sandeep Jalan's tenure since May 2020. Jalan is credited for his efforts in improving SES's execution, balance sheet, and shareholder returns. The transition is expected to be smooth, with Jalan assisting in the handover until 31 July 2025.

SES CEO Adel Al-Saleh expressed gratitude for Jalan's leadership and welcomed Pataki's strategic capabilities, especially her expertise in M&A finance integrations and investment strategies. Pataki previously excelled at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Comet Group, notably expanding profitability and driving EBITDA margins. Her new role at SES will focus on reinforcing the company's finance strategies, operational efficiency, and investment profitability to advance SES as a leading satellite operator.
