Seventy Ninth Resources Finds Gold Anomalies at LM Project in Guinea
Seventy Ninth Resources Limited has identified multiple gold-in-soil anomalies at its LM project in Guinea's Siguiri Basin. The Gibraltar-based resource exploration firm announced that these anomalies span a 41.2 square kilometer area with an 8 km north-south geological structure.
High-grade gold findings from artisanal pits include 10.74 grams per ton (g/t) and 8.32 g/t. The results from 1,271 soil samples and 448 artisanal pit samples suggest a dominant north-south to north-east trend in mineralized structures.
Seventy Ninth's CEO, Natalie Bellis, emphasized the significance of these findings for advancing the LM project. A ground geophysical survey is planned to further investigate these anomalies, potentially enhancing understanding of the geological structures.
The LM project lies in the well-known Siguiri Basin gold belt, renowned for its abundant gold deposits, and is close to major gold mines like Hummingbird Resources Yanfolilla and GGE Sidikila.
