SFC Energy AG Secures EUR 4 Million Order for Fuel Cells for Indian Defence

SFC Energy AG has announced a follow-up order worth EUR 4 million from its strategic partner, FC TecNrgy Pvt Ltd., for methanol fuel cell solutions to be used by the Indian Ministry of Defence. This order follows major contracts in 2023, cumulatively valued over EUR 33 million, highlighting the ongoing demand for SFC's fuel cell technologies.
The fuel cells include models like the JENNY 600S, renowned for their reliability and energy efficiency. These solutions, designed for harsh conditions, offer logistical advantages by reducing the need for frequent fuel supply. Assembling will occur at the Gurgaon facility in India.
This initiative aligns with India's move to adopt clean technologies and decrease CO2 emissions under the "Make in India" initiative. It marks another milestone in the strategic collaboration between SFC Energy and FC TecNrgy.
