Shelly Group AD Expands Investor Reach with XETRA Trading Inclusion
On 29 April 2024, Shelly Group AD, a Sofia-based provider of IoT and smart building solutions, will make history by becoming the first Bulgarian company to have its shares traded on XETRA. This significant development is part of an ongoing strategy to enhance capital market growth and investor base, transitioning from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange to a more robust, electronic trading platform. Baader Bank AG will support this transition as the Designated Sponsor.
Co-CEO Dimitar Dimitrov expressed pride in the company's achievement, highlighting the increased appeal of Shelly shares to both private and institutional investors. His counterpart, Wolfgang Kirsch, emphasized the strategic move's alignment with the company's growth targets and operating performance, expecting to attract a broader range of investors through continuous and liquid trading on XETRA.
Ever since its introduction to the Regulated Market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in December 2016 and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in November 2021, Shelly Group has been advancing in visibility and investability, marking another milestone with its XETRA listing.
