Approved by Siemens' Supervisory Board, this strategic move involves Altair shareholders receiving USD 113 per share, amounting to an enterprise value of USD 10 billion. The transaction is expected to enhance Siemens' earnings per share within two years post-closing.
The acquisition, subject to customary conditions, is anticipated to close in the latter half of 2025. This move is in line with Siemens' goal to solidify its leadership position in industrial software and artificial intelligence.
