Signal Gold Inc. Launches Exploration at Stewart Target Near Goldboro Deposit
Signal Gold Inc. has initiated exploration activities at the Stewart target, located approximately 10 kilometers northwest of the established Goldboro Deposit in Nova Scotia, Canada. This area, part of a larger 27,200 hectares exploration land parcel, features a blend of gold, antimony, and tungsten anomalies and is centered around two significant granite intrusive formations potentially housing poly-metallic skarn mineralization.
Geophysical surveys have identified a zone of highly magnetic rocks extending 4 kilometers, forming an integral part of the new exploration strategy. This includes a multifaceted exploration plan comprising geological mapping, soil and till geochemistry, and targeted geophysical surveys aimed at pinpointing drilling sites. The preliminary prospecting efforts have already revealed numerous quartz-vein boulders and undocumented historical trenches across the target area.
According to Kevin Bullock, President and CEO of Signal Gold Inc., the Stewart target, which emerged as a high priority post an extensive data compilation and a regional airborne geophysical survey, displays substantial gold anomalies. With values in till samples as high as 7,000 ppb gold, these findings underscore the area's potential for both orogenic gold deposits and polymetallic skarn mineralization.
