Signal Gold Inc. Launches Geophysical Surveys in Goldboro District

Signal Gold Inc., a prominent name in the mining sector, announced the initiation of a comprehensive 1,400-line kilometre airborne geophysical survey over its newly enlarged exploration territory, situated immediately north of the Goldboro Project. This expansive effort involves collecting magnetic and very low frequency (VLF) electromagnetic data across 7,771.2 hectares recently incorporated into the company's holdings through seven additional exploration licenses.

The target area, known as Stewart Brook, is notable for a significant gold, antimony, and tungsten till anomaly extending over a 40-square kilometre region, identified through historic sampling. These findings have spurred optimism regarding untested zones with potential new discoveries within the larger Goldboro Gold District.

Kevin Bullock, President and CEO of Signal Gold, highlighted the strategic importance of the survey in identifying new exploration targets. The company’s approach integrates magnetic and VLF surveys as fundamental tools in revealing alteration zones and gold mineralization. Bullock anticipates the discovery of satellite deposits which could enhance the longevity and output of the planned central milling facility at Goldboro.

The initiative solidifies Signal Gold's stance in the region, expanding its exploration license area to more than 27,200 hectares. Historic and recent datasets indicate promising areas of exploration potential, notably within the Goldboro and Seal Harbour Trends, which the company aims to delineate further through upcoming geological mapping and targeted drilling of high-priority areas. The surveys are conducted by Terraquest Ltd., employing advanced aeromagnetics and digital VLF electromagnetics techniques.
