Significant increase in revenue for Olympique Lyonnais Groupe during the first nine months of the 2023/24 financial year
Olympique Lyonnais Groupe recorded a 24% increase in its total revenue, reaching 252.2 million euros over the first nine months of the 2023/24 financial year. This progression is marked by sustained activity in the events and player trading sectors.
Ticketing remains stable with a slight increase, while the TV and marketing rights segment shows a decline, mainly due to the absence of payment of LFP/CVC commercial aid this year. Partnerships and advertising reflect a decrease of 7%, affected by the team's provisional ranking and the economic situation of certain partners.
Notably, the brand's revenues have tripled thanks mainly to a royalty for the granting of a long-term license to OL Féminin. Major events activity also saw a substantial increase, propelled by major concerts and international matches at Groupama Stadium.
Player trading represents a significant portion of revenues with growth of 25%, highlighting the success of key player sales during the period.
