Silver Tiger Metals Advances Pre-Feasibility Study with Promising Drilling Results
Silver Tiger Metals Inc. has recently shared an update on its Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) drilling program at the El Tigre Project, Sonora, Mexico. The company announced the completion of 22,000 metres out of a planned 25,000-metre drilling program aimed at expanding and upgrading its Mineral Resource. This progress positions the project on track for its PFS publication scheduled for the second half of 2024.
The drilling targets three key areas within the Stockwork gold deposit: the footwall, the hanging wall, and the bottom keel, aiming at resource expansion, upgrading classification, and de-risking the potential Starter Stockwork Zone. Silver Tiger's latest results highlight significant progress in delineating the high-grade "Keel Zone" near the surface, promising for project advancement.
Notably, drilling results include impressive intercepts such as 116.0 metres at 0.68 g/t gold equivalent in drill hole ET-23-497, emphasizing the consistent high-grade mineralization encountered. The company's efforts in converting mineralized material from Indicated to Measured categories and upgrading a substantial portion of the Inferred Mineral Resource across a 2km strike length indicate a confident step towards development.
CEO Glenn Jessome expressed satisfaction with the assay results, which continue to de-risk the project significantly. The assay intercepts validate the potential of the near-surface Stockwork Zone and the deeper Keel Zone, underpinning Silver Tiger's strategic exploration vision.
