SimpliGov Announces Standardized Connector for Seamless Data Exchange With Its Workflow Automation Platform

SimpliGov, a leader in government workflow automation, announced a universal connector to enhance database integration with its platform. This new API facilitates data access from any source supporting open database connectivity (ODBC), minimizing the need for custom front-end APIs and reducing related costs.

The connector supports integration with legacy databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres. The aim is to improve operations by bridging gaps to older and enterprise data stores. It also allows for mapping external data sources to populate digital fields within SimpliGov workflows.

Examples of its application include validating licensure, retrieving demographic information, and accessing HR systems for employment verification. This integration capability offers deeper insights for decision-making and process improvements.

CEO David O'Connell highlighted the ease of integration and quick implementation, describing the connector as a secure, cost-effective solution that doesn't require extensive IT resources. The release is scheduled for July 2024.
