ATHA Energy Discovers High-Grade Uranium at Angilak Project
ATHA Energy Corp, based in Vancouver, has reported significant findings at its Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada. The success was achieved through detailed drilling and advanced electromagnetic inversion modeling. At Mushroom Lake and KU Discovery, key drilling sites, the company intersected substantial uranium mineralization.
Specifically, Mushroom Lake revealed uranium zones with peaks up to 7,659 counts per second (CPS), while KU Discovery's drilling showed readings up to 5,805 CPS. These results indicate promising uranium deposits along the Lac 50 and RIB-Nine Iron Trends.
Moreover, ATHA's application of 3D electromagnetic inversion modeling has successfully identified structural corridors with potential for further uranium exploration. The corporation completed 23 drill holes in its 2025 program, discovering five new uranium areas.
