ATHA Energy Discovers Major Uranium Mineralization at Angilak Project

ATHA Energy Corp announced a significant discovery in the Mineralized RIB Corridor (MRC) at its Angilak Uranium Project, Nunavut. The exploration, particularly in the RIB North Discovery area, has yielded notable results, with drillhole RIBN-DD-001 showcasing 26.3 meters of composite uranium mineralization. This includes 1.9 meters of high-grade deposits within ten zones, from depths of 345.55 to 460.05 meters. The discoveries span a 4.4 km strike length along the MRC's eastern limb, demonstrating potential for further expansion. Drilling also confirmed mineralization along a 4.0 km stretch on the western limb.

The company's CEO, Troy Boisjoli, highlighted the achievement's significance, noting the Angilak Project's potential to host high-grade uranium deposits akin to those in the Athabasca Basin. The exploration findings align with the U.S. government's increasing uranium demand, boosting the project's relevance. As exploration continues, ATHA Energy aims to validate the region's potential as a new uranium district.
