Sky Gold Receives Permits for Evening Star Project in Nevada
Sky Gold Corp. has announced the approval of drill permits for its Evening Star Copper-Gold project in Mineral County, Nevada. The project targets both copper porphyry and intrusion-related gold deposits.
Located in the Walker Lane Trend, the 1,450-acre Evening Star property is accessible via road and shows potential for undiscovered copper-gold deposits. Mike England, CEO, expressed enthusiasm for initiating drilling amidst rising commodity prices.
The planned drill program includes testing the "Highlife Copper" porphyry and the "Tower Gold" targets. The program involves two holes at Highlife and three at Tower Gold, spanning 3,500 feet in total.
Highlife features a copper-in-soil anomaly with bedrock samples revealing notable copper and gold concentrations. Tower Gold, characterized by gold-bearing quartz veins, has demonstrated substantial mineralization through sampling.
