Slovakia Confirms Participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade
Slovakia has officially confirmed its participation in the EXPO 2027 exhibition in Belgrade, Serbia. The announcement was made by Matej Fekete, Director General of SLOVAKIA TRAVEL, and Lukáš Parízek, Commissioner General for EXPO 2027 Belgrade. They sealed this commitment alongside Serbia's Minister for Internal and External Trade and the EXPO CEO.
Lukáš Parízek expressed pride in being the first country to sign the agreement, highlighting the event as a chance to enhance Slovakia's global and regional ties. The Slovak delegation also engaged in discussions with Serbian commercial and tourism leaders.
EXPO 2027 will run from May to August, with over 120 countries expected and more than 4 million visitors anticipated. This participation underscores Slovakia's dedication to promoting its global reputation and fostering sustainable tourism.
