Slowdown for Ipsos in an uncertain economic climate

In the third quarter of 2024, Ipsos observed a slowdown in its activity with a turnover of €591 million, representing a total growth of 0.5% and an organic decline of 0.1%. The company is facing a difficult macroeconomic and geopolitical context, impacting its performance depending on the region. To date, the turnover over nine months reached €1,730 million, up 3.3% mainly thanks to acquisitions.

In EMEA, organic growth remained stable at 4.9% in the third quarter, with notable performances in Italy and Germany. However, the Americas region was affected by economic uncertainty in the United States. Asia-Pacific, despite a sluggish economy in China, showed modest growth.

Ipsos continues to invest in future technologies, notably Artificial Intelligence, while maintaining efficient cost management to maintain a stable operating margin of 13%.
