SMT Scharf AG Plans Dividend Resumption

SMT Scharf AG's Managing and Supervisory Board have proposed resuming dividend payments. The decision entails a recommendation of distributing EUR 0.21 per share for the 2024 fiscal year. This proposal will be presented at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 20, 2025, following the finalization of the audited annual financial statements.

Depending on shareholders' approval at the meeting, the total dividend payout is anticipated to reach approximately EUR 1.2 million. The proposal reflects a renewed dividend policy that retains at least 20% of the IFRS consolidated net profit, post-deduction of non-controlling interests, for shareholder distribution. This move marks a significant step for the company post-economic challenges that required halting dividends.
