SMTPC 2024 Annual Results: Figures and Outlook

The Marseille Tunnel Prado Carénage Company (SMTPC) observed an increase in traffic in 2024. The tunnel recorded the passage of 14.39 million light vehicles, an increase of 1.2% compared to 2023, attributed to the leap year.

In 2024, revenue increased by 2.6% to €38.05 million, thanks to increased traffic and a fare increase. However, operating profit decreased by 21.1% to €13.841 million, due to depreciation related to the new Schlœsing slip road. Net profit fell by 20.9% to €9.442 million.

For 2025, the 4.1% drop in traffic at the beginning of the year highlights reduced visibility, as activity remains tied to the economic context. The board proposes a dividend of €2.20 per share for the 2024 financial year.
