SMTPC: Slight increase in turnover in the 1st quarter of 2024

Société Marseillaise du Tunnel Prado Carénage (SMTPC) published its turnover for the first quarter of 2024, showing a slight increase compared to the previous year. With a total of 9.12 million euros excluding taxes, turnover increased by 0.46 million compared to the first quarter of 2023, which was 8.66 million euros.

This increase is attributed to the 0.9% increase in traffic, supported in particular by the calendar effect of the leap year. Toll revenue, representing the majority of turnover, increased by 4.5% to reach 8.74 million euros, thanks to the tariff adjustments made the previous July and the increase in traffic.

Ancillary services also contributed to this growth, with revenues increasing from 0.29 to 0.37 million euros. This positive development at the start of 2024 offers an encouraging outlook for the activities of the SMTPC.
