SoftwareONE Experiences Margin Growth Amid Revenue Fall in Q1 2025
SoftwareONE Holding AG has reported its first quarter results for 2025, showing an increase in EBITDA margin despite a decline in revenue. The company's revenue fell by 5.7% year-on-year to CHF 232.2 million, primarily due to challenges in the NORAM region. Despite this, the adjusted EBITDA rose by 2.3% to CHF 46.0 million, with a margin improvement to 19.8%.
The company completed a cost-cutting initiative, resulting in CHF 88 million in annualized savings, surpassing the initial target of CHF 70 million. Revenue declines were most significant in NORAM, down 31.3%, while APAC reported a 15.9% increase due to strong performance in India, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
CEO Raphael Erb cited ongoing improvements in NORAM and positive momentum in the second half of 2025. The integration with Crayon is progressing, with completion expected in June 2025.
