SoftwareOne Sees Decline in Revenue, Improved Margins in H1 2025

SoftwareOne Holding AG, a global software and cloud solutions provider, reported its H1 2025 results, noting a 4.9% year-on-year revenue decline in constant currency to CHF 487.7 million, excluding Crayon. The company, however, managed to improve its EBITDA margin by 1.9 percentage points to reach 17.5%, driven by strategic cost control measures.

The company is undergoing a transition period following the full consolidation of Crayon as of July 2025. Despite the revenue drop partially attributed to changes in Microsoft vendor incentives, SoftwareOne is optimistic about future growth, particularly in NORAM, with new leadership aiming to drive results from Q3 2025 onward.

The integration with Crayon is on track, with cost synergies of CHF 11 million already realized. Looking forward, SoftwareOne expects flat revenue growth by the end of FY 2025, with adjusted EBITDA margin remaining above 20%.
