Sokoman Minerals Launches Phase 1 Drilling at Fleur de Lys Gold Project

Sokoman Minerals Corp. (TSXV:SIC)(OTCQB:SICNF) has announced the commencement of a 2,000-meter diamond drilling program at its Fleur de Lys Property in Northwestern Newfoundland. The program aims to test historical showings and targets generated from recent prospecting efforts, including the Golden Bull prospect discovered in 2023.

The drill plan includes 20 holes with an average depth of 100 meters. Approximately 50% of the drilling will focus on the Golden Bull area. This area has shown promising results, with several grab samples revealing significant gold content.

Drilling operations will be handled by Springdale Forest Resources using a Duralite tracked rig. The program will run on a day-shift basis, and assays will be performed at Eastern Analytical Ltd., located about 90 km from the Fleur de Lys property.

Timothy Froude, President and CEO, expressed satisfaction with the systematic exploration conducted over the past three years. He highlighted the potential for discovering orogenic gold mineralization similar to significant deposits in Northern Ireland and the UK.
