Solar Solutions for Amsterdam's New Urban District

A new city district is under construction in south-east Amsterdam, integrating sustainable energy solutions within its design. As part of the SPOT Amsterdam urban development project, Schletter International B.V., in collaboration with Dutch developer BLK Projects, is installing solar mounting systems on residential towers reaching up to 110 meters.

Expected to complete by the end of 2025, the district will house 1,100 flats, alongside significant office, retail, and leisure spaces. The project utilizes Schletter's FixZ-15 system, chosen for its stability and adaptability to high wind loads prevalent in the area.

Efficient logistics and precise planning are crucial, given the project's complexity and high-stakes nature. Past collaborations, such as RAAKS and Het Dok, have established a strong partnership between BLK Projects and Schletter, ensuring reliable and timely project delivery.
