Solitario Resources Corp. Announces Major Expansion of Geyser Gold Target with New Assay Results

Solitario Resources Corp. (NYSE American:XPL)(TSX:SLR) has reported a significant expansion and better definition of the Geyser gold zone within its Golden Crest project through recent assay results. The 2023 field season yielded high assay results, including gold values as high as 171.5 grams per tonne. This development merges previously identified zones into a single Geyser Zone, now encompassing 515 rock grab samples, with 99 samples showing values above 1.0 gpt gold.

The merged Geyser Zone presents two intersecting structural trends, forming a V-shaped mineralization with dimensions extensively described. High-grade gold values are surrounded by zones of lower-grade mineralization, evidencing a large and promising gold system within the property. Chris Herald, Solitario's President and CEO, underscored the potential of Geyser as a significant greenfields gold exploration target in North America.

Additionally, the US Forest Service has completed an Environmental Assessment on Solitario's proposed drilling program in the Golden Crest area, accelerating the project's development. The Golden Crest project situates in a historically gold-rich area, indicating a favorable prospect for gold discovery and development.

Quality control measures have been employed to ensure the reliability of the assay results, which serve as a guide for further exploration. Walter Hunt, Solitario's COO, vouched for the scientific and technical information, emphasizing the project's adherence to high industry standards.
