Founded in 1974 by visionary entrepreneur Don Luis Bulnes, Solmar has become a symbol of luxury and exceptional service. Solmar's roots trace back to 1948 when Don Luis Bulnes moved to Cabo San Lucas, then a small village. His first hotel, the Solmar Hotel, opened in 1974 with 20 rooms and two suites. His innovative efforts brought essential infrastructure, transforming Los Cabos into a vibrant tourist destination.

Today, the group includes six luxurious properties, offering world-class spas, gourmet dining, and diverse activities. In 2011, the Solmar Foundation was established to support local communities through educational and environmental initiatives.
