Kölle Zoo Enhances Store Operations with SOLUM Electronic Shelf Labels

Kölle Zoo, a prominent pet retailer in the German-speaking market, has adopted SOLUM's electronic shelf labels (ESLs) to digitize its store operations. In only eight weeks, 300,000 ESLs were installed across 28 stores, streamlining price updates and promotional changes. The SOLUM Newton ESL platform facilitates centralized management of price and product information, significantly reducing manual tasks and ensuring shelf information remains current.

This digital upgrade has notably decreased the effort required for price adjustments, allowing Kölle Zoo to redirect focus towards customer service and expert advice. Michael Dipper, Head of IT at Kölle Zoo, emphasized the efficient project implementation, aided by SOLUM's reliable technology and collaborative support.
