South Pacific Metals Corp. Announces New Leadership

VANCOUVER, BC - South Pacific Metals Corp. (SPMC) has officially declared significant changes in its management structure. Effective immediately, Michael Murphy will serve as the Chief Executive Officer, while Cathy Fitzgerald will assume the roles of President and Chief Geologist. Both Murphy and Fitzgerald bring extensive industry experience and a proven track record of successful strategic initiatives and value creation in their respective fields. Murphy, previously a founder of Torex Gold Resources Inc., has over 15 years of expertise in the financial services sector working with notable firms such as Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse. Fitzgerald joins SPMC following her tenure at Apollo Silver Corp., bringing over 20 years of experience in exploration and resource development across various minerals.

The company also extends gratitude to Adam Clode, the outgoing interim Chief Executive Officer, appreciating his contributions during a transitional phase for South Pacific Metals. The appointments mark a strategic move for the Vancouver-based SPMC, positioning the management core in Canada.
