SouthGobi Updates Shareholders on Upcoming Meetings

SouthGobi Resources Ltd. has provided an update regarding its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled for June 25, 2026, in Vancouver. The company, listed on the TSX-V and HK exchanges, requires additional time to complete its management circular linked to the March 2026 Deferral Agreement. Consequently, approval for this agreement will not be sought during the June meeting.

Instead, a separate Special Meeting will take place by August 29, 2026, seeking approval from Independent Shareholders. The documentation, including details on the Deferral Agreement, recommendations, and Special Meeting notice, will be available on SEDAR+ before this date. The Annual General Meeting will proceed as planned.

SouthGobi, operating the Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine in Mongolia, maintains its focus on coal production and sales to China. Shareholders eligible for the Annual Meeting remain unaffected by these changes.
