SPAR Austria Elevates Retail Experience with VusionGroup's Cutting-Edge Digital Solutions
August 28, 2024 – VusionGroup announced a new partnership with SPAR Austria to implement its innovative multicolor smart electronic shelf labels (ESLs) and VusionCloud across 200 stores by the end of the year.
This initiative will digitalize shelves, offering accurate real-time product and pricing data at the shelf-edge. Consumers will benefit from consistent prices, while SPAR employees will have access to precise information displayed on the ESLs.
SPAR AG CEO Hans K. Reisch emphasized the importance of careful technological adoption in the sensitive food sector and expressed pride in advancing the company's digitalization efforts with VusionGroup's solutions.
The multicolor smart labels will enhance SPAR's in-store promotions and marketing, boosting brand visibility. VusionCloud will automate price and promotions updates, allowing associates to focus more on customer service. It also provides easy management of in-store IoT and integrates with SPAR Austria's wireless infrastructure.
