Splendid Medien AG Bolsters Management Team for Maxdome's Expansion

Splendid Medien AG, a Cologne-based company, announced the addition of Stefan Langefeld as a new managing director for Videociety GmbH, a subsidiary that operates the video-on-demand (VoD) platform maxdome, effective immediately. Langefeld joins Hans D. Henseleit, bringing over two decades of experience in the international media business with a focus on VoD platforms and digital strategies. His past roles include senior positions at Apple/iTunes, Pantaflix, Sky, and Viacom. This strategic appointment aims to strengthen maxdome's position in the VoD market both nationally in Germany and Austria, and internationally.

Maxdome is known for its vast selection of films and series available for rent or purchase, hosting 20,000 titles without requiring a subscription. Available on various devices including SmartTVs, tablets, and smartphones, maxdome prides itself on technological excellence and strong brand recognition.
