Star Copper Advances Drilling at Star Project and Announces Private Placement
Vancouver-based Star Copper Corp. has reached a significant milestone with the completion of its first drill hole at the Star North target, located near its main deposit in British Columbia. The drill hole, SN-25-001, extended 402 meters, probing a geochemical and geophysical anomaly characterized by copper-in-soil readings.
Promising geological signs were noted, including chalcopyrite presence, suggesting Star North may emerge as another mineralized hub. Assay results are pending, which will inform future exploration activities.
Star Copper also unveiled plans for a non-brokered private placement aiming to generate C$2.5 million through the issuance of flow-through shares. These funds will support exploration expenses at the Star Project. The offering is subject to Canadian securities regulations and approval processes.
