Star Copper Begins Drilling at Copper Creek in BC's Golden Triangle
Star Copper Corp. has initiated its first pass drilling at the Copper Creek target within its Star Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The target is approximately 2.2 km southeast of Star Main. This marks a significant milestone as the company expands its exploration efforts beyond the Star Main project.
The initial program features two ~400m holes designed to confirm previous mineralized intervals and test high copper-gold anomalies within an east-west structural corridor. Extensive preparatory work, including geophysical surveys and soil analysis, supported the transition from a drill-ready concept to active testing.
Historical efforts at Copper Creek, involving prospecting and limited drilling, have been supplemented by recent advancements like 3D modelling and new geological surveys. The drilling results will refine the structural-geochemical model, aiding follow-up exploration. Star Copper enforces industry-standard QA/QC protocols to ensure precise results.
