STEMMER IMAGING Presents Preliminary Results for Fiscal Year 2023

On February 28, 2024, STEMMER IMAGING AG published its preliminary figures for the financial year 2023, revealing strong profitability despite a difficult market environment. The company saw a 5.8% drop in revenue to €146.3 million, a performance in line with forecasts. Despite this, STEMMER IMAGING recorded a record gross margin of 39.7% and a slightly reduced EBITDA to 27.0 million euros due to one-off effects.

The EBITDA margin reached a historic level of 18.4%. After adjusting for exceptional expenses, EBITDA stood at 28.3 million euros, surpassing the results of the previous year. These performances reflect the company's success in a context marked by an economic slowdown and a temporary drop in orders due to overcapacity among customers.

STEMMER IMAGING thus confirms its strategic orientation towards a transformation into a systems house for the computer vision industry. Final results for fiscal year 2023 and forecasts for 2024 will be released on March 28, 2024.
