Stevenson School Appoints Cynthia B. Chapman as Board Chair
PEBBLE BEACH, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 30, 2024 / Stevenson, an independent PK-12 boarding and day school in Monterey Peninsula, California, announced Cynthia B. Chapman as the new Chair of the Board, effective July 1, 2024. She succeeds David Colburn, who will continue to serve on the Board of Trustees.
Chapman, a Stevenson alumna, has a long history with the school and has significantly contributed to its growth. She holds degrees from the University of San Diego School of Law and the University of California, San Diego. Professionally, she co-founded the national law practice Caddell & Chapman.
Chapman’s vision for Stevenson includes enhancing academic programs, expanding extracurricular opportunities, and strengthening community partnerships. Her personal experience and professional achievements are expected to serve Stevenson well as it continues to grow and develop.
Colburn's tenure saw significant financial growth and infrastructural development. Chapman aims to build on this foundation to further Stevenson’s mission of preparing students for future success.
