Steyr Motors AG Adjusts 2026 Forecast and Withdraws 2027 Outlook
On August 17, 2026, Steyr Motors AG announced an update to its financial guidance for 2026 and a withdrawal of its medium-term outlook for 2027. The adjustment is attributed to delays in international defense projects, impacting public procurement and approval processes. Consequently, the anticipated EUR 10 million revenue for the first half of 2026 was not realized, with further delays expected in the second half.
For 2026, revenue growth is now projected at 15% to 25%, translating to approximately EUR 56-61 million, down from the previous expectation of EUR 75-95 million. The EBIT margin is adjusted to 8%-12%, compared to the former 15%. The 2027 forecast, which estimated EUR 140 million in revenues and a EUR 40 million EBIT, is also rescinded.
The company emphasizes that while demand remains stable, revenue projections are shifting by up to two years. The half-year report will be released on August 19, 2026.
