STMicroelectronics Details Recent Share Repurchase Activity

STMicroelectronics N.V., a leader in the semiconductor industry, has reported on its recent transactions under its ongoing common share repurchase program. Between May 6, 2024, and May 10, 2024, the company bought back 175,000 ordinary shares on the Euronext Paris market. These transactions are part of a program initially announced on July 1, 2021, following approval from its shareholders and supervisory board on May 27, 2021.

The total expenditure for these shares amounted to EUR 6,574,466.00, with the weighted average price per share being EUR 37.5684. This buyback represents 0.02% of the issued share capital. The repurchased shares are intended to meet obligations from debt financial instruments that can convert into equity, adhering to the Market Abuse Regulation under article 5(2).
