STMicroelectronics Updates on Share Repurchase Program
STMicroelectronics N.V., a leader in semiconductor solutions, has provided details on its ongoing common share repurchase program. Approved by shareholders in May 2024, the program covered the period from October 7 to October 11, 2024. During this time, the company repurchased 364,100 ordinary shares, equivalent to 0.04% of its capital, at an average rate of EUR 25.4908 per share, totaling EUR 9,281,194.62.
The transactions, conducted via Euronext Paris, aimed to fulfill obligations from share option programs for employees and certain committees, under article 5(2) of the EU Market Abuse Regulation. Any unused shares will be retained for other legal purposes. Following these buybacks, STMicroelectronics holds 10,467,614 treasury shares, representing around 1.1% of its capital.
