STRATACACHE Acquires Ontario-Based Dot2Dot Communications

Dayton, OH / ACCESSWIRE / June 5, 2024 / STRATACACHE announced its acquisition of Dot2Dot Communications, a digital signage integration specialist based in Ontario, Canada. Dot2Dot is notable for its expertise in out-of-home media and its strategic partnership with Scala, which is part of STRATACACHE's portfolio.

Chris Riegel, CEO of STRATACACHE, emphasized that the acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy of connecting media audiences. The integration of Dot2Dot's Ad Manager platform with STRATACACHE’s digital signage products, including Scala CMS and Walkbase audience insights, is expected to generate new revenue opportunities.

Dot2Dot’s Ad Manager platform is recognized for managing digital inventory for Tier 2 and Tier 3 out-of-home media companies, as well as for clients like Adams Outdoor, Reagan Outdoor, and Home Depot. The platform helps convert consumer traffic into profitable media audiences in various environments such as airports and shopping malls.

Andy McRae, General Manager of Dot2Dot, expressed enthusiasm about joining the STRATACACHE family. He anticipates that the additional resources and capabilities will drive significant industry growth.

Kevin Carbone, CEO of Scala, noted that the acquisition complements their in-store retail media business, expanding opportunities for brands to engage with consumers. The move enhances STRATACACHE’s ability to build and monetize consumer audiences effectively.
