Strategic partnership for electric snow groomers in the Alps

Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) and PRINOTH have announced a partnership for the production of large-scale electric snow groomers in the French Alps. This project aims to industrialize the production process to support the decarbonization of the snow grooming industry.

CDA is committed to reducing its carbon footprint, having already reduced CO2 emissions by 90% through the use of HVO fuel. In partnership with PRINOTH, the project includes an assembly line in operation as early as 2026.

The first prototype, based on the "Leitwolf" snow groomer, should be tested in December 2025. This partnership reflects a shared ambition to decarbonize mountain leisure activities while promoting a sustainable local economy.
