Success of Fermentalg's capital increase with support of €12.8 million
Libourne – June 18, 2024 – Fermentalg announces a capital increase of €12.8 million. This operation aims to support the 2024-2026 strategic plan of the company specializing in marine microalgae biotechnology. The HuvePharma group, industrial partner since December 2023, invested €7.5 million, becoming a key shareholder.
The overall request of €12,844,850.40 was distributed between strategic and institutional investors (96.5%) and individuals via PrimaryBid (3.5%). Bpifrance contributed €3 million. The new shares will be admitted to Euronext Growth Paris on June 20, 2024. The capital of Fermentalg will then number 87,867,649 shares.
Pierre Josselin, Managing Director of Fermentalg, welcomes the confidence of investors and reaffirms the ambition to become the European leader in microalgae fermentation solutions.
